Time is valuable, and hospitals and clinics are getting busier, leaving little time for staff to focus on education and training. To address the need for flexible, on-demand training sessions, GE Healthcare launched Digital Expert, a new program to provide remote training and education services that are flexible to meet the needs of the individual facility. Digital Expert provides face-to-face interaction and mimics onsite training through audiovisual and conferencing technologies.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, GE has further leveraged Digital Expert for its customers, providing the much needed support along with enhanced safety by limiting interpersonal contact. Customers can select from two different options for training. Using a Booking Portal, the customer can choose what they want to learn when it fits their schedule to supplement their training or refresh their knowledge. Or, they can choose a full day of remote training, where GE’s applications team spends the entire day with a site’s technologists. A combination of onsite and remote training, including training for new software updates, is also available.
Digital Expert is currently available for all GE imaging modalities in US and Canada.
